Welcome to St. Johns Pharmacy! Founded in 1961 by Harold Waldron, St. Johns Pharmacy has been a fixture of the St. Augustine community for over 50 years. There have been many changes in the practice of pharmacy and the community over the years. Automation, with the help of robotics, has helped us keep up with the demands of the community but quality customer service has remained our prime focus. A rising trend in pharmacy has been the popularity of specialized compounded medication as prescribed by your physician. These compounds include creams, capsules, liquids and even dissolvable tablets. We have a thriving practice in this area, including bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). Although we have upgraded our technology, we have not forgotten the needs of the patient. We still offer old fashioned home town service with free delivery in the St. Augustine area. Currently we have 3 pharmacists with over 40 years of combined experience. Kenneth Arnett graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC. Ken and his wifes families both grew up in St. Augustine, and Ken was actually born in the old Flagler Hospital. Lynn Dompe graduated from the University of Florida (UF). She currently resides in St. Augustine with her family. Julia Sachs graduated from the University of Florida (UF) and received a PharmD there. She resides in St. Augustine as well. Both Lynn and Julia love the outdoors and you may spot them surfing the wave on St. Augustine Beach. We look forward to serving you and being your local hometown pharmacy. We are pleased to announce we are now under common ownership with Flagler Community Pharmacy. With over 20 years in the St. Augustine community, we believe that we can have an even greater impact on the healthcare of the local community. Our location at Flagler Hospital can serve your needs before you leave. From our location here on 2720 U.S. 1 south, we continue that care once you get home.
